For consideration is a small hand-carved ivory lady’s powder compact, complete with powder puff. The lid secures to the base by means of threads. The resultant compact has a smooth texture and creamy off-white color stereotypical of a hand-carved ivory object that was created 50 or so years ago.
This item says seller pays shipping. DON’T YOU BELIEVE IT! There is a glitch in the Mercari app while will not permit sellers to choose Priority Mail from USPS, which is a must when shipping from Hawaii. The selling price will therefore be about $10 more that what was advertised, to allow, for shipping.
