Tested with batteries and it works...Vintage Arvin Cassette Recorder AM/FM radio. Works on 4- "C" cell batteries.. does not come with batteries or power cord (those were add-on accessories back in the day) however you can find those accessories online pretty cheap. What you're seeing in the picture is what you'll get. It works. It plays tape cassettes. If you have a blank tape, you are able to record on it. We used to put a piece of scotch tape over the holes on a cassette tape and record over that back in the day. It has a port where you can plug in a microphone and record that way. You can also play the radio while you're in the shower. This unit is in very very good condition. It looks hardly used.. it has an antenna that pulls out for extra reception.
